you asked me to write something happy,
so i did.
one, bright and light, long ago, a quarter century.
two, a fantasy, of a future dreamt.
they're covered up by 2 more poems of despair.
(but thank you for reading, what, 20 poems today?)
a reverse Neruda of sorts:
his 20 love poems, and a song of despair,
are my
20 despair poems, and a song of love.
but then again, ain't they one and the same?
