ticking time away

wishing that details were clearer
instead of the alcoholic haze

anyway,
i remember my smile
upon giggling lips
i felt no remorse

to think
to wonder
but the time is now through

i recall the conditions
the terms of the deal
i believe they were quickly broken
and i felt that freedom

again, no remorse...
