the calm of the sunday times crossword

that i never come close to completing --

but you do,

and i admire you everytime

but it was a peach tulip

that stole my heart

and i'm forever smitten

by the yellow post-its

and i recall the palest ice-blue lace,

and the song i wrote for you,

saved for that perfect day

singing the wake-up call

knowing fully well

that the extra 10 minutes

are ours to share
