quarter to 4 and i�m blinking
wasting away days, slow
$17 per hour, nothing is wrong
but when your work ethic is strong
the day is too long

addicted to the sugar rush of
frozen raspberry smoothies
reminding me of kisses,
in these sunny daydreams, they soothe me

oh, if only i could inspire
something beautiful inside
words from the mouth, delicately spoken

but if she flies back, i know i�ll take a backseat,
then a coach-seat, on a one-way
ticket to ride�back east
