orange crushed dream world

cops on the trains again

orange was never a favorite color

or flavor

but the stench of homelessness filled the train

and i cried

[reality]

i'm not built for days like this

when the headlines scream

and maybe i'm not meant for philadelphia.

then again, i'm not meant for much besides the dream world
