all the burgundy
dark like seeping rain
into skin
into minds

i'm disconnecting from this

warm blurring words
and disruption

i sit, shaking
because i feel it
pounding,

don't you feel me?
craving the
acknowledgement
of
...something undefined

yet clearly defined by
the tightness in
my chest

maybe i need to become
sex
bathed in light, sweat
and the (dance)
best laid plans, for the
girl that gets laid

how much time will pass before the
repetition of the dangerous liaisons?
trust me, it's not what i need, or want

but can manifest destiny be altered?
