DRUNKEN POETRY - #4 - did you take notes in juvenile delinquency class?

eigth grade lettering
hearts connected to last names
and i pray to the gods
of valentine dances

but cartoon love
isn't more than ink to paper
one would think --

but it's the everlasting embodiment
never to be broken
boudaries
to hold back the rainy-day beauty
always the sun shining
-- but not for me.
